all the little elements are great. Even the choise of coming back to it for an interruption in the lion’s story .. LOL I had to go back and recall what the last thing was talked about — which makes the ipossible snowball throw from the fox even more priceless…
It doesn’t actually look like a snowball, more like the fox just tossed snow up into Charles’ face. I used to have a dog who could this trick; he’d burrow his nose down into the snow and just flip it into the air, then try to snap at it.
It wasn’t necessarily a snow ball that the fox threw, he could have just turned around and heaved some snow using his hind legs. Or just a simple sideways paw swipe of snow. If you look at the 2nd panel the snow on CC does not look like a ball exploded on him, but rather a *clump* of snow was tossed at him.
