Mein Herr (in honor of the Germany posting) - just gotta love the expression on the Lion/Moonbears’ face - that’s the most serious lion that I have ever seen . And it’s matched by Charles expression in the last panel . WOW - and if this wasn’t worth waiting for - I don’t know what was .
You realize how hard it is to go through all your pages and panels - trying to pick the ones I want to buy . Oh well - sooner or later I’ll get it sorted out - for the first go-round (:>))
Earlier today when I checked the site (and the strip was not ready), I could not decide if I wanted Karl to pen one about Charles or Vivol. It must be my lucky day!
Sorry couldn’t let that stand on its own in case you all thought I was an ass. I like the fact that even though you make this up as you go (to seriously paraphrase) there is an undelying direction that is progressing the story. My point in my last post is that this is a panel strip that posts once a week just because we have not turned the page does not make it a mystery (yet). Lets see this one play out before we start getting to mysterious. Ok?
I just wanted to say that its great to get translated versions of the strip. Since I’m a French Canadian who also speaks a bit of portuguese, I’ll be able to enjoy the original versions, practice my portuguese and help weed out any mistakes in the French translation! I’ve been reading webcomics for a few years now, but as soon as I discovered yours, it got into my top 5. Please keep it up and thanks for your great work.
i dont think the lion is spamming ‘wake up,’ but that the second panel is from charles’ perspective (hence the blurriness) and that the single phrase is echoing through his fuzzy consciousness. Also supported by the fact that he’s already awake in the first panel.
Anywho, i love the strip; the art, expressions, characters, story, and overall feel is great ^_^
Another beautiful comic, with that touch of emotional subtlety that I love about your strip. The plot has an ethereal nature that’s foiled provocatively by the everyday lives of the rest of the woodland animals — suffice to say, I love it!
Your art is simply fantastic; I don’t understand how you can draw animals with such realism and such humanism. Have you ever considered drawing less standard-format panels? My favorite all-time strip is Calvin and Hobbes, and I remember that one of Watterson’s greatest complaints was the paucity of space he was allotted by newspapers. WIth a webcomic, you have the freedom — and in your case, obviously the talent — to take adavantage of unlimited spacing. I’d love to see TACC drawn with a freedom of style in accordance with the feel of the strip itself. Anyway, keep up the fantastic work, and I can’t wait till the next installment!
Hey Karl, will you be offering sketches at the Calgary Expo? I will be offering money and obedience in return. (”You want a $15 hot dog, Karl? You got it!”)

I’m enjoying this comic immensely and I’m unanimous about that

I think he will either show him the sky, or the view. Either or.

I wonder how long he was just saying, “Wake up, wake up”. Maybe hours ^_^
Anyhoo, beautiful. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

OMG! The story is wonderful as is. Add mysteries. Don’t add mysteries. I’m on board hardcore regardless. I trust you without reservation.
LOVE IT!

Yay. I knew the kitty was a good kitty.

This may sound odd, but my favourite part of this strip is how the fox looks at Charles in the last panel…

(well, maybe it’s tied with the portrayal of the lion/moon bear. But still.)

Hey Crash. I’ll definitely be doing sketches all weekend in Calgary. No obedience required. :)
