Just a note to let you know that The Abominable Charles Christopher is going to be featured at the Monthly Mess event organized by indyish.com.
It’s on Sunday night, March 30th at 7pm OFF Interarts, 5145 St-Laurent and there’ll be lots of music, art and pancakes!
If you’re in Montréal, come and say hi! And if nothing else, come for the pancakes and whiskey. ;)

Pancakes sound good, whiskey does not. Then again last night I would have claimed the opposite. Then I would have gotten sick when I tried drinking the whiskey, and then I’d have to ask for a togo box for the pancakes.
Regardless, I’m no where Montréal, so you can have both my pancakes and my whiskey.

Pancakes and whiskey? What an unusual combination! Couldn’t there be tea instead (is that really lame of me?)? Not that I can make it, what with being in London…
My first post here and I go and say something utterly inconsequential like that. Honestly…
Well, I need hardly add how much I adore ‘The Abominable Charles Christopher’ nor how much I admire your talent, Karl - I daresay the rest of the world beat me to that already.

Hmmmm, as long as they dont force feed me the whiskey, I might have to head up the main for this one…
…because pancakes plus charles christopher wouldnt be something to miss, though I am very french impared. Any idea if this venue is bilingual?

Back home again after a fun evening of pancakes. I had a beer with my ‘cakes - no whiskey - and I think everyone had a good time. There was an ongoing slideshow of all the existing Charles Christopher strips and it was a nice accompaniment to the live music.
